Summary Efforts by FIA and NAB underway for recovery.
Minister for Postal Services Sardar Mohammad Umar Goreij on Thursday informed the Senate that during the last three years around 142 cases of misappropriation and fraud were unearthed in various post offices involving a loss of Rs.410.91 million.Replying to a question during the question hour, he said a sum of Rs.72.27 million was recovered from the involved officials, while Rs.338.64 million were yet to be recovered.He said that efforts were underway for recovery of remaining loss departmentally as well as through FIA and NAB.
