Summary Cold weather persists in upper areas of the country while intensity of cold is reducing in Sindh.
Weather remained dry and cold in most parts of country while light rain was recorded in some areas of north eastern Balochistan including Malakand division.Snow fall with light rain was also recorded in mountain areas while cold weather full grips Skardu area.The minimum temperature -9C was recorded in plane areas while -16C was recorded in mountain areas. A low pressure wind system is moving towards north due to which intensity of cold has decreased in Sindh.According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), dry and cold weather is expected in most parts of the country.
