Summary Ex-Secretary health is granted one month leave instead of making him OSD and FIA freed MS PIC.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has ordered to make Secretary Health Jehanzeb Khan OSD over deaths due to reaction of medicines provided by PIC but notification could not be issued in this regard while, Jehanzeb Khan was granted one month leave on his request.On the other end, FIA has released former Medical Superintendent of Punjab Institute of Cardiology, who was arrested a day ago, on personal guarantee.FIA officials are of the view that complete record of PIC drugs is not available therefore, difficulties are being faced in investigating the issue.
