Woman dies in house fire in Lahore

A 45-year-old woman died after being severely burnt in a house fire near Lohari Gate, Lahore, caused by a petrol can kept inside a room.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A woman lost her life after sustaining severe burns in a house fire here on Monday.
According to rescue sources, the incident occurred near Sutar Mandi Chowk, inside Lohari Gate, where a fire broke out in a petrol can kept inside a room of the house.
Rescue officials said the woman present in the house died on the spot due to burn injuries. The deceased was identified as 45-year-old Safia Bibi.
Rescue personnel shifted the body to Mayo Hospital, where it will be handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities.
