Abducted KIPS College CEO returns home safely

LAHORE (Dunya News) – KIPS College CEO Abid Wazir Khan, who had gone missing from Lahore’s Johar Town area a day earlier, has returned home safely.
According to police, his medical condition was satisfactory.
Investigations into the kidnapping incident were ongoing, while efforts were underway to identify and arrest his abductors.
Police officials stated that all facts related to the incident will be brought to light once the investigation is completed.
As per the FIR registered at Johar Town Police Station, Abid Wazir Khan was kidnapped while leaving his office.
The FIR said that at the time of the abduction, Abid Wazir Khan was on a phone call with a female general manager, who heard the voice of an unknown person on the line.
The unidentified individual told the victim that he had caused an accident involving the suspect’s vehicle.

Police sources said the suspects kept moving the victim through various areas, including Multan Road, while the location of the victim’s car was traced near Manga Mandi.
Initial investigations suggest that three kidnappers were involved.
The suspects apparently intended to take the victim out of the city, and six police teams are conducting route tracking in and around the Manga Mandi area.
Authorities are investigating whether Abid Wazir Khan was kidnapped for ransom or for some other motive.
A detailed statement of the victim will be recorded, and police have assured that the suspects will be traced and arrested soon.
