Summary US Pakistan Embassy clarified statement of Defence Secretary Leon Panetta regarding OBL operation.
The US Embassy in Islamabad has issued a clarification regarding Defense Secretary Leon Panettas statement saying someone in Pakistani government knew where Osama bin Laden was hiding.The interview in which Leon Panetta said Pakistan knew of Osamas presence was recorded months ago, the clarification said.The clarification added there is no evidence confirming this view adding the Defence Secretary was talking about the supporting network inside Pakistan. Pentagon and other US officials are working with Islamabad to improve relations.
