Stern action against those responsible for defective drugs: CM

Talking to media in Lahore Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that there is nothing to hide, the report on adulterated PIC medicines will be made public and those responsible will be brought to justice.So far, more than 109 deaths have been reported due to suprious drugs intake provided by Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and dozens are in critical condition in various hospitals in Lahore.Giving his remarks on other issues, Shahbaz Sharif said that unscheduled power cuts should have been controlled if government machinery had worked honestly.He further said that loadshedding has completely destroyed countrys economy by directly affecting agricultural and industrial sectors.Damage done by the government during past three years cannot be mended within six months, he added.
