(Web Desk) - The Pakistan Airport Authority has announced temporary air route closures within the Lahore and Karachi Flight Information Regions (FIRs) due to prevailing regional security concerns. The restrictions will be enforced at different times on January 14 and 15.

According to officials, the Pakistan Air Force has been placed on high alert and is conducting military exercises in the designated areas. As a result, flight operations in both FIRs will be closely monitored throughout the restricted period.

Commercial pilots have been advised to use alternate routes to ensure the safety of flight operations. The military exercises are scheduled to take place daily between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Passengers have been urged to confirm their flight schedules in advance, as some services may experience delays or possible cancellations due to the temporary restrictions.
