Addressing in Lawyers’ role signing ceremony at Karachi Registry of Supreme Court, Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the Supreme Court has always worked with in the constitutional limits and it is the responsibility of lawyers and every citizen to protect the constitution and to obey the law.The chief justice said that lawyers struggled for restoration of democracy and supremacy of constitution.We have played our innings and someone from you will be the chief justice in future, he said.In the ceremony, twenty three lawyers were allowed to present in the Supreme Court which include one female lawyer and two lawyers from Balochistan.Earlier, a meeting of building committee was held headed by the chief justice in which, a briefing was given regarding judicial lockups and servant quarters.
