Summary Dr Asim said that provision of gas supply to Punjab industries would be started from Monday.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Petroleum Minister Dr Asim said that industrial area has been divided into four zones; every zone would be provided with gas for 3-3 days.He said that industrial groups including CNG and LPG are hatching conspiracies to destroy the system. Gas crisis is the result of shortcomings of last 50 years. He deplored that the entire nation was exploited and put on trial for the vested interest of a few people.He said that 700 million cube feet gas would become part and parcel of the system within next six months.He claimed that they have prepared such a comprehensive project of gas which would end the crisis of gas for ever.All Pakistan Textile Mills Association Chairman Gohar Ijaz said that about 4 million workers have become jobless due to hectic crisis of gas within 40 days while 10 million workers related to industrial sector are waiting for salaries.
