Summary Government has decided to call joint session of the parliament in first week of February.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Friday said that joint session of the parliament would be summoned in first week of February to finalise new terms of engagements with NATO and allies regarding war on terror.Talking to the media outside Parliament House, she said, the government would also bring pending legislation in the joint session as a round of consultations with allied parties has already been completed.Opposition would also be taken on-board in this regard.The Minister said incomplete voter lists and legal lacunas in the formation of Election Commission of Pakistan would also be rectified in consultation with opposition so the by elections could be held as per schedule.
