Summary LHC ordered PEPCO to submit schedule of loadshedding in Presidency, PM House and Governor House.
When Chief Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed started hearing of the case, the counsel for the petitioner said that Presidency, PM House, Governor House and PM House are exempt from loadshedding, while the common people face the menace every day.The counsel further contended that duration of loadshedding has become more than 18 hours for common man which is deplorable.The Attorney General while expressing his stance said that submission of loadshedding schedule is not duty of the federal government; rather it is job of the PEPCO. The PEPCO officials demanded time for submission of its reply.
