Only answerable to the parliament: PM

Amid mounting tensions between the government and the armed forces, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani clarified that he has never labeled accusations against anyone, adding that reply submitted in the memo case by Army Chief and DG ISI in the Supreme Court was not according to the rules of law.Responding to a question regarding Army Chief’s complaint to President against him, Prime Minister Gilani said he was not present in the meeting but presidential spokesperson has already denied the statement.Talking to media in Vehari, he said he was elected as Prime Minister with majority’s support in the country and he is only answerable to the parliament.Prime Minister Gilani further said that he never emphasized over competition of his 5-year term but parliament should complete its five years.
