Summary Earthquake measuring 5.5 on Richter scale jolted Chitral and surrounding areas on Saturday morning.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) the epicenter of the quake was 115 kilometre away from Chitral in Hindukush mountain range.The tremor was felt at 3:50am on Saturday. No casualty was reported from any part of Chitral and its surroundings.A low intensity quake measuring 4.3 on Richter scale hit the same area on January 9.
