Summary Enraged people held protest demonstrations against gas loadshedding in different cities of country.
Domestic consumers and workers observed a sit-in on Haji Abad Road in Faisalabad. Protestors also shouted slogans against government and Sui Gas Department which had snatched away their peace of mind. They also blocked the road for three hours, causing disruption in traffic system.While expressing their agonies and sufferings, they said that gas supply has been disconnected for a week forced their families to die of starvation and hunger.Protesters also warned that if shameful loadshedding is not ended, they would cordon off the gas office.Likewise, protest demonstrations were held in different areas of Balochistan. People came out of their homes and gathered at Almo Chowk and Siryab Road where they shouted slogans against the government which made their lives full of agonies. Protestors complained that they have been deprived of supply of gas for five days and people are bound to cut woods from jungle.According to Sui Northern, supply of gas was disconnected due to destruction of gas pipeline in the area of Naseer Abad.
