Summary Maulvi Anwarul Haq said that Pakistan High Commission is instructed to issue visa to Mansoor Ijaz.

Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq said on Monday that the Pakistan High Commission (HC) in Britain has been directed to issue visa to Mansoor Ijaz as soon as his application is received.He was talking to media during break in the memogate case hearing here at Islamabad High Court (IHC).The memogate commission formed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan is investigating into the issue of memo that was handed over to Mike Mullen through US businessman of Pakistan origin Mansoor Ijaz allegedly on behalf of Pakistan government.Earlier, the commission directed the government to issue visa of Pakistan to Mansoor Ijaz the key character of memogate scandal.PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and former Pakistan ambassador to the United States Hussain Haqqani reached the IHC and appeared before the commission, while Chief of Army Staff will not appear before the commission due to his visit to China.Mansoor Ijaz had also written a letter to the commission, stating that he was ready to visit Pakistan and requested for provision of complete security to him.The commission has instructed the Attorney General to issue visa to Ijaz on urgent basis and ensure his security while the commission has also asked to provide additional security to Husain Haqqani.
