PM takes notice of Lyari incident

During his telephonic conversation with the Home Minister, he directed him to submit his report at the earliest that why the residents of Lyari were protesting and tried to enter the red zone.Stressing on taking full control over the issue, the prime minister also strongly condemned police shelling on protesting citizens.It is pertinent to note that protesting Lyari citizens trying to force their way to Governor’s residence and Bilawal House, were encountered by police, who tear-gassed protestors and also resorted to aerial firing on the protesters.Many protestors were injured while more than 30 were arrested during the protest.
