Summary Punjab government has ordered purchase of 100 new CNG buses despite gas loadshdding.
Special bus service inauguration ceremony for women has also been postponed in this regard.According to provincial government sources, government has ordered to purchase CNG buses from China which would reach Karachi soon. Later, theses buses would be handed over to transporters.Moreover, the government has ordered for heavy mats to store large quantity of gas so that gas shortage may be overcome. These mats would be installed on bus stands.On the other hand, special bus service for women has been postponed but it would be restarted after improvement in gas loadshedding.
