Summary MQM and ANP had a squabble in the National Assembly session over new provinces issue.
Nawab Yusaf Talpur chaired the session of the National Assembly on Tuesday.Haider Abbas Rizvi of MQM said that the issue of creation of new provinces should be discussed during the session.Federal Minister of Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour said conspiracies were being hatched to reduce powers of the provinces and the ANP will not allow division of his province. He said that this issue should be discussed in the provincial assemblies.Haider Abbas Rizvi said that the people of South Punjab and Hazara are demanding for their new provinces and the issue should be discussed today on this forum.Sheikh Waqas Akram of PML-Q said that speaking in the Parliament was his right and his party will leave no stone unturned to create new provinces.PML-N suggested to postpone the discussion till the next session.
