Summary At least three people were killed and 24 wounded in firing incidents during New Year celebrations.
Firing started in different parts of Karachi on the eve of New Year and intensified when clocks ticked 12:00. Three people were killed in firing incidents in Baldia Town, Orangi Town and Garden areas of KarachiMeanwhile 24 people sustained injuries in firing incidents in New Karachi, North Nazimabad, Defence, Liaquatabad, Korangi and Gulshan locality of Karachi. The injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital Civil Hospital and Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
