A shallow westerly wave affecting northern parts is likely to cause very cold weather conditions in upper parts of the country during next 24 hours. According to met analysis, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.Foggy conditions are likely to remain in plain areas of Punjab, including Gunjranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Multan and Bahawalpur divisions and KPK including Peshawar, Charsada and Swabi from mid-night to morning.In Sindh and Balochistan, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the provinces during next 24 hours. However, foggy conditions are likely to remain in Sukkar division during from mid-night to morning.Partly cloudy weather is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and adjoining hilly areas during next 24 hours.The lowest temperature of -12 C was recorded in Skardu on Saturday. Minimum temperatures were recorded in: Islamabad 0 C, Lahore 1 C, Quetta -7 C, Karachi 13 C, Peshawar 1 C, Muzaffarabad 1 C, Gilgit -6 C, Murree -3 C, Multan 3 C and Faisalabad 2C. -- APP
