Summary PIA has added airport charges after enforcement of new taxes from Civil Aviation Authority.
According to PIA spokesman, passengers of first class and business class leaving on international voyage would have to pay additional Rs 1720 while passengers of economy class would be bound to pay Rs 1220 as an additional amount.The spokesman also said these taxes would also be applied on tickets purchased before January 1.These taxes would be received as cash on briefing counters before issuance of boarding card on all Pakistani airports from Sunday.These taxes would be in effect from 1st of January.
