Summary Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah criticises federal ministers for unscheduled power cuts.
During media talk outside Punjab Assembly, Rana Sana Ullah says that gas and power cuts should be carried out at a bearable extent.Emphasizing over other issues, he said that provinces did not get proposed rights under 18th Amendment andfederal government is specifically discriminating with Punjab province, which is violation of the constitution and provincial government can seek justice from Supreme Court in this regard.Rana Sana Ullah said that local body elections have not been conducted, neither in Punjab nor in any other province and added that commencement of elections is responsibility of the Election Commission (ECP) but it is impossible until formulation of new voter lists.Provincial Law Minister also blamed federal government of providing Rs. 70 million to PPP members for preparation of the elections in the name of development funds.Giving remarks over recent Gujranwala shootout, he said this incident represents feudal thought in the society and not only police or government but society should also take notice of this.
