Summary Four kidnappers, one abducted doctors and a cop have been killed in a shootout.
Unknown people had kidnapped Dr Talal from Haripur a month ago. The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 600 million.Taxila and Haripur police launched an operation at 4am Thursday and raided a house on Railway Road. When the operation started, the abductors shot Dr Talal dead.A policemen and four captors were killed in the exchange of fire that continued for about 45 minutes. Police have seized large quantity of arms, including hand grenades. The bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital Taxila.
