Summary Loadshedding of electricity and Sui gas has been challenged in the Lahore High Court.
In this regard, writ petition was filed in the court in which the counsel for the petitioner said that persistent and unscheduled loadshedding of electricity and gas has made the routine life stagnant. He appealed the court to issue prohibition injunction against the loadshedding.PEPCO says that it had to enhance the duration of loadshedding in urban areas for eight hours and in rural areas for 10 hours due to desilting of canals from December 26.
