While on the other hand, the Attorney General told the Supreme Court in the memo case hearing that he only represents the federation. On his statement, the Chief Justice asked then who would represent the Armed Forces.Addressing a gathering in Islamabad on Thursday, PM Gilani however said that he fully owns all operations of the armed forces because he knows that no army of the world can win any war without the support of the masses. He also said all the institutions are under the elected prime minister.However, some may question why did the Attorney General say he would only represent the ministries other than defence.He claimed he has the credit for uniting the nation, and took pride in being the longest serving prime minister. He said all institutions should be under the parliament.The PM also said conspiracies are being hatched to topple the elected government. The people have to decide whether they want democracy or dictatorship, he added.
