The committee has formally started investigation into the memo-gate issue.On Wednesday, the Foreign Minister presented the resignation of Hussain Haqqani, the former ambassador to the United States. Other important documents were also given to the committee.The committee asked the Attorney General to provide it a copy of the affidavit Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has submitted to the Supreme Court.Sources said that briefings of Defence and Foreign secretaries were completed in the Wednesday session. The Foreign Ministry assured the committee that it would fully coordinate in the investigations.
