Summary Pakistan Met office predicted normal rain in upper parts of the country during next 48 hours.
Director General Met Office Arif Mehmood told Online that Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and normal rain in expected in the country. He said that snow fall is also expected in Malakand division and Kashmir on Tuesday and Wednesday.He said that light rain and drizzling is also expected at isolated places of North Punjab during next 48 hours. DG met further added that cold and dry weather will continue in most parts of the country during this week. He said that intensity of fog in plain areas of Punjab including, Gunjranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Multan and Bahawalpur divisions would likely to increase during coming days.He said that another cold wave is likely to grip most parts of the country after two days however; no significant rain is expected in Barani and irrigated areas of the country during this month.DG Met told that very cold & dry weather expected in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during next 24 hours, however; foggy, Misty conditions likely to arise in plain areas of the KPK including Peshawar, Charsadda and Swabi from mid-night to morning.He said that mainly cold & dry weather expected in most parts of the Sindh during next 24 hour however foggy, Misty conditions likely to arise in Sukkar division during from mid-night to morning.DG Met Arif Mehmood said that very Cold & dry weather expected in most parts of the Balochistan during next 24 hours.However, snow fall is also expected over the hills of Northern Areas and Kashmir, he added. -- Online
