Summary CJP remarked Babar along with other ministers 'ridiculed' SCs orders in a press conference on Dec 1
During the hearing of memogate case, Chief Justice of Pakistan said that former law minister Baber Awan, along with ministers held a press conference on Dec 1 after the announcement of the Supreme Court’s initial verdict which caused insulted the verdict.The court expressed annoyance over the press conference and asked the Attorney General to submit reply to the SC regarding the issue.Attorney General of Pakistan Maulvi Anwar-ul Haq informed the court that it was not government’s stance.
