Summary Jamat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed has warned the government to pull out of the war on terror.

Addressing Defence of Pakistan Conference organised by the Pakistan Defence Council (PDC) at Minar-e-Pakistan, Hafiz Saeed said the US has lost the Afghan war. Directly addressing PM Gilani, Hafiz Saeed said the government of Pakistan must give a timeline to pull out of the American war, or face a long march to Islamabad.He said the government must also reveal all the agreements signed with America so that the people come to know about the truth of the matter. He said if the US comes as a guest, it will be welcomed, but launching attacks on Pakistan would not be tolerated.He said that Pakistan would not fight the US war anymore; Pakistan would only fight its own war.He said the strategic assets of the country must be defended at all costs. He said no country has the right to launch an attack on Pakistan.The conference was held with an aim to build national consensus to counter US aggression like NATO attacks.PDC Chairman and JUI-S chief Maulana Samiul Haq, in his keynote address, that the Pakistan Defence Council has been formed to expose all conspiracies against Pakistan.Other major speakers included Syed Munawwar Hasan, Gen (retd) Hameed Gul and some leaders of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf, PML-N, Jamiat Ahle Hadith, JUP, Millat Jafaria Pakistan, various religious organisations and heads of seminaries.Several minority leaders from Sikh, Christian and Hindu communities also addressed the gathering.
