Summary Azam Swati has announced joining Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf.
Swati, the erstwhile JUI-F senator, had quit the Senate and the JUI-F only two weeks ago. He had cited rampant corruption and ineffective parliament as causes of his resignations.Swati is another political heavyweight joining Imran Khan’s PTI. Imran says the party needs over 1,000 candidates for all constituencies and cannot solely arrange new faces for each seat.Shah Mehmood Qureshi is one of the many other stalwarts who have joined the PTI since Imran’s successful rally in Lahore.
