Eighth session of National Finance Commission was held in Islamabad, chaired by Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh in which finance ministers from four provinces also participated.The session reviewed GST and gas royalty and monthly implementation on the NFC Award.Federal Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh, while talking to the media, said that all the issues were discussed to solve basic problems of the provincial governments.Punjab Finance Minister Kamran Michael said that Punjab is being deliberately exploited as there is a delay in release of NFC amount. He also said that he has reservations on distribution of funds. Service tax is not being distributed justly among province on equal grounds, he said.KP finance minister Hamayun Khan said that they were given about Rs 15 billion from the federation for flood-hit people.
