Summary At least 38 militants were killed and 17 soldiers injured during clashes in Upper Orakzai agency.
According to media reports the militants attacked the security forces in Khanki area of Upper Orakzai Agency injuring seventeen soldiers. The security Forces retaliated and pounded the militants with heavy gunship killing thirty-two militants on the spot. The injured soldiers have been shifted to Kalayaan and Hangu hospitals.Meanwhile the security forces pounded the militants hideouts with heavy gunship in Mamozai killing six militants. --Online
