As per details, Khalid Mahmood, resident of Kot Azam Shah, a village in the suburb of Depalpur, married Sajda four years ago. They have two children.He not only used to clash with the victim over not having permission for second marriage but also tortured her mercilessly.On the day of occurrence, Sajda had headache and Khalid in consultation with his father drank her poisonous liquid, threw her in front of her parents’ house and escaped from the spot.The victim was carried to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital and later shifted to Jinnah Hospital Lahore owing to critical situation.
