Summary The Federal Cabinet has postponed the suggestion to ban export of diesel to NATO.

The Economic Coordination Committee also gave approval to import 0.2million tons of Urea fertilizer.The session of the Economic Coordination Committee was held in Islamabad chaired by Finance Minister Dr Abdu Hafiz Sheikh.The ministry of petroleum briefed the committee about suggestions regarding ban on exportation of diesel and petrol to the NATO forces in Afghanistan; however, the decision was postponed in this regard.The ECC also deferred the suggestion regarding ban on import of CNG kits.The committee has also formed a special body led by the Finance Secretary to consider about finishing 16% GST on tractors.
