Summary Employees staged protest across the country against the WAPDAs privatization.
The protester burnt the tyres, blocked roads and raised slogans against the government. The employees also stopped work and locked the offices across the country in protest over the decision to privatize the electric body and appointment of a private CEO in the company.They urged the government to withdraw the decision and warned to disconnect the electricity supply if the government would not withdraw the decision.
