Summary Rental Power Projects agreements were altered at least three times, according to documents.

The documents available with Dunya News reveal that RPP agreements were amended three times while 8 plants were paid advance but they didn’t contribute a single unit of electricity.The papers show that agreements were signed with 18 companies. The Water and Power Ministry kept on altering the agreements without approval from the ECC or the federal cabinet. Nice companies were paid nearly 19 billion rupees in advance, while the total rent of these plants was agreed at Rs 1.35 trillion. Three of the companies snapped the agreements without informing the ministry.The documents also show that production targets were revised four times in the agreements. Yong Jin and Karke 2 companies were paid advance without settling production target with them.
