Summary Shah Mehmood Qureshi says Zardaris words and deeds are at divergence.
Addressing a news conference along with Imran Khan, where the latter declared his assets, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Zardari calls himself the spiritual son of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He said that but today the PPP has in its rank the people from whom Banazir Bhutto had feared threat to her life. He said had Zardari been Bhutto’s son, the same elements would not have been included in the PPP’s ranks.Qureshi said that today’s PPP is at odds with the PPP whose foundations were laid down by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.About the recent Nato strike, Qureshi said that NATO violated all understandings and Pakistan’s boycott of Bonn conferece makes it a useless exercise, as reconciliation of Afghanistan is out of the question without Pakistan’s participation.
