Summary Ex-SCBA president Asma Jehangir says she would fight ex-envoy Hussain Haqqanis memo case.
Talking to Dunya News’ programme ‘CrossFire’, Asma said that the court cannot pass an order without hearing all parties to the case. Neither can anyone’s name be put on the Exit Control List without being given chance to explain himself, she said.She said Hussain Haqqani is not a terrorist, therefore there was no harm in giving him a chance to speak. She said that she did not wage struggle for the restoration of one or two judges. “We fought for the restoration of an important institution,” she said, adding that she would continue to fight for the cause of democracy and justice.
