Summary SSGPL has consented to opening CNG stations across Sindh at 6pm today.

The decision has been taken in the face of tremendous public pressure and well as from the CNG Association. The irked public and CNG stations owners said that the government should abide by the Sindh High Court ruling that barred closure of CNG stations.Successful talks were held between SSGPL officials and CNG Association office-bearers during the day. In the talks, the SSGPL officials allowed opening stations at 6pm.The interim order was issued on Friday during the hearing of a petition lodged by Standard CNG (Pvt) Ltd and 12 other stations, which had assailed the decision of the SSGC and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) to cut gas supply for 24 hours every week to CNG stations of Sindh and Balochistan.Despite the order, CNG stations of Sindh region including Karachi were closed for 2 days from 11 pm on Tuesday.
