Summary British Kashmiris and Pakistanis have condemned bids to cancel Kashmiri citizenship of Lord Nazir.

The PPP government in AJK has passed a resolution in the state assembly in order to revoke Kashmiri citizenship of Lord Nazir.The news has sparked anger in the Kashmiri and Pakistani expats in the United Kingdom.They have decided to observe a protest day on Friday against granting MFN status to India and revoking the citizenship of Chairman Kashmir Committee in British Parliament Lord Nazir Ahmed by PPP government in Azad Kashmir.President Tehreek-e-Kashmir Mohammad Ghalib and Secretary General Mufti Abdul Majeed have appealed to Imams, political, religious and community leaders to condemn PPP government’s decision to declare India as most favourit nation and character assassination of pro-freedom leaders like Lord Nazir Ahmed.Lord Nazir lately vowed to expose the corruption of the PPP government in the British Parliament.Protest day would be observed across UK and Scotland and resolutions would passed to condemn the decisions of the PPP government, the TeK leaders said and urged leaders of Kashmiri community all over the UK to come forward and expose the highly dangerous conspiracies being hatched against Kashmir freedom movement.By observing a protest day British Kashmiri community should send a message that no one would be allowed to cause harm to liberation struggle of Kashmiri people just to perpetuate rule.The TeK leaders assured Lord Nazir Ahmed of their full support for his valuable services to Kashmiri people’s struggle for right to self determination. They termed the PPP government’s recent decision as unfortunate. They added that the PPP would not be allowed to trade the blood of 100,000 Kashmiri martyrs until a single freedom loving Kashmiri is alive.
