German FM expresses solidarity with Pakistan over soldiers loss

Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle telephoned Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to express support and solidarity with the people and government of Pakistan.He deplored the NATO/ISAF attack and said it was unacceptable. He supported investigation into the attack.Guido Westerwelle said that Germany was fully aware of Pakistan’s sacrifices and contributions.He hoped that the military incident would not affect political cooperation. Foreign Minister Khar briefed the German Foreign Minister on the gravity of situation developed by the attacks and its repercussions.She also briefed him about decisions of the Defence Committee of the Cabinet.
