Summary New Delhi govt said Pakistan and India had agreed to issue multiple visas to traders for a year.
According a declaration issued by SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this announcement was made by India Joint Secretary Arvind Mehta during a meeting with Pakistani traders in New Delhi.He said that a note would be sent to the Union Cabinet for consideration in this regard. According to new policy, the multiple visa would be issued for one year by which Pakistani traders would be able to visit 10 cities of India, he justified.It is worth mentioning that Pakistani merchants would not be bound to report police about their arrival, he explained.
