Summary National Economic Councils administrative committee has granted permission to secure Islamabad.
In this regard, a special meeting was held in Islamabad with federal Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh in the chair in which the project worth Rs 13 billion was approved.According to the project, sensitive scanners, CCTV cameras and metal and ammunition detectors would be installed on all the entering ways in the city.It is worthy of note that this project has been already challenged in the Supreme Court which had directed the government to make the transparency of the project intact.According to project, scanners and cameras would be purchased from Chinese company.
