Summary The PIA has increased fuel surcharge of international fares by 50% after rise in domestic fares.
Five days ago, PIA had increased domestic fares by 50%. Later on, the international fares were also increased in accordance under the same formulae.The new raise would be implemented on the tickets issued from November 5. According to new notification, the fare for America and Canada has been raised by Rs 5,500; the UK by Rs 2740, Europe and Saudi Arabia by Rs 1500 and the Middle East by Rs 1200.
