Summary The 3-day celebrations of 543rd birth anniversary of spiritual leader of Sikh community began.
According to Media Reports, about 8,000 Sikh pilgrims from India, England, Canada, Australia, Afghanistan and other countries reached Nankana Sahib to participate in the annual ceremonies of their spiritual leader.Nanaka Sahib DCO Hassan Iqbal, DPO Dr Haider Ashraf, Auqaf Departments Deputy Director Fazal Elahi Butt and other officers welcomed the pilgrims on their arrival at Nankana Sahib.Meanwhile the district administration and other law enforcement agencies have made tight security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident on this occasion.
