Summary At least 50 graves, mostly of children, were found dug up in Pir Jhanday Shah Graveyard in Karachi.
According to details, around 50 graves were dug up and had body parts missing from them in Pir Jhanday Shah Graveyard near Sabzi Mandi in Karachi.The incident came to light when people noticed smell coming out of graveyard. When the residents reached the graveyard they found that graves of their loved ones mostly children being dug up,Body parts and bones from bodies of children were stolen from many of the graves that were dug up.Meanwhile, SSP East javed Alam Odhu while talking to Dunya News denied the news of desecration of graves and said that the graves were damaged due to water seepage from drainage of a nearby nulla.
