Summary Presiden Asif Zardari, Farooq Naek and Governor Ibad offered eid prayers in Karachi.
Eid prayers were also offered in Nishtar Park, Eidgah Nazimababd, Jinnah Ground Azizabad, T Ground Federal B Area, Eidgah Shah Faisal Colony, Eidgah Orangi Town and Mehfil Shah Khurasan in Karachi. In Islamabad big eid congregations were held at faisal Mosque, Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi. There about 400 venues where the faithful offered Eid prayers in Rawalpindi, Security remained strict during the congregations. In Lahore at more than 3000 places the Eid prayers were held. N-League chief Mian Nawaz Sharif and Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif offered Eid at their Raiwind farm, while Punjab Governorlatif Khosa offered Eid at the Badshahi Mosque. The big Eid congregations were also held at Jamia Naeemia, Karbala Game Shah Data Darbar, Masjad-e- Shuhada and Bagh-e-Jinnah. In Peshawar, Federal Ministerfor railways Ghulam Ahmed Bilour offered Eid prayer at Central Eidgah. Security in Peshawar remained strict during the prayers.
