Summary Two Eids jinx couldnt be broken in Pakistan as in some areas Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated today.
Apart from Afghan refugees living in camps in Pakistan, particularly in the northwest, the Bohra community members also celebrated Eid in Karachi on Sunday. Eid congregations were held in Sadar, Haideri, North Nazimabad, City Courts and Shabbirabad. A number of women and children also attended the Eid prayers. Similarly, Eid is also being celebrated by a number of people belonging to Jamat-ul-Muslimeen in Taiba Town, Tandialianwala.The Eid prayer was led by Jamat-ul-Muslimeen local ameer Muhammad Javed.The country has been having two Eid for the past few years. Mainly Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on two different days in the country as the sighting of the moon is made controversial by the ulema from various schools of thought in the absence of strong writ of the state.
