Summary Civil Aviation Authority employees protested for their rights in Islamabad and Peshawar on Tuesday.
The protestors also demanded the resignation of the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority.The CAA’s employees held a protest at the Benazir International airport due to non-implementation of recognized sections of the Charter of Demand.Employees’ leaders, while addressing the protestors, said that the DG CAA is responsible for not implementing the current raise in their salaries, seeking his resignation.Likewise, the employees of the Civil Aviation Authority also held a protest demonstration at the Peshawar Airport.The protestors said that billions of rupees earned or produced by the Civil Aviation Authority were handed over to the Pakistan Railways and the PIA which is undoubtedly exploitation of their rights.
